If you think Piper is not excited and proud to be perched in his new carrier, you are mistaken. Purchased specifically to make it easier for his veterinarian to remove him to be examined at his annual check-up (the old one presented some challenges), Piper liked his new travel gear right away. And always a big fan of a car ride, he was ready to go before the engine was started.
I never know how Piper will react to something new, often his initial response is fear. I will carry the bravery and pride he displayed on this day with me for a very long time.
