On Saturday we attended Parrot Palooza at the bird store where we purchase food and toys for Piper. It is a big, fun event that celebrates birds and their peeps. Upon entering the store, this was posted:
Last night we took Piper to our avian vet for his annual checkup. I am happy to report that he is healthy and we are so grateful.
I had signed my John Hancockatoo on the scroll next to the Bill on Saturday, using the requisite feathered pen. But my pledge to Piper is really engraved on my heart. No fun quill pen required.
