Who Gives This Woman To Be Married? Her Father And I Do

Posted on August 14, 2016August 14, 2016 By Sister Rain

I have been away on vacation, the pace of which allowed for no time or brain space for blogging. I am back home, feeling unsettled on how to return to SisterRain.net. Do I begin with the oppressive heat here in Pennsylvania? Tales from the trip? The reunion with my beloved constant companion, Piper? Then I heard something and it became clear to my visually challenged self:

Read the beautiful story of a bride walked down the aisle by the donor recipient of her father’s heart ten years ago.

When you’re done, go directly to the Organ Donation Registry. I understand that organ donation is the ultimate personal decision and can go against religious and ethnic beliefs. But in this humble blogger’s opinion, if you read the above article and don’t decide to donate your organs, including your phone heart, you just might not have one.
