iPhone, iPhone In My Hand

I am unable to see myself very well in a mirror, not because I am a vampire but because of my visual impairment. From time to time, I take a selfie to check my hair and makeup, since I can enlarge it. Interesting fact: the magnification level I would need to actually see myself properly in a mirror doesn’t exist, it is currently not possible to manufacture. Believe me, I’ve done the above and Bed, Bath & Beyond search. I don’t always delete the mirror images of myself captured in iOS format, and it can be embarrassing when someone sees the amount of me on my camera roll. Truth be told, when you are unable to clearly mirror yourself, it is a treat when you can see your own face. I still can’t inspect my freckles and not-so-fine lines but I am okay with that. I figure it’s a Snow White lining in the loss of my sight.

Though I may not be the fairest one of all, with an Apple in my hand, I don’t need a prince to awaken my memory of what the mirror on the wall would reveal.
