This pillow was a gift from one of my dearest friends. She said she thought of me as soon as she saw it.
Travel has greatly impacted my life and shaped me. I am who I am because of the places I have been. The period directly following my vision loss was extremely difficult in all the ways that you would imagine and then some. Not travelng during that time took me to one of the few destinations I never want to visit: despair.
I believe what it says on this pillow is true. I also think that we cannot escape who we are. And when we have good friends who know us, they wouldn’t let us if we tried.
