I gravitate towards the color blue because it is the only color I can see, but sometimes its darkness makes it hard for me to find things that I have purchased in that color. The iPad case I have been using is dark blue. I often have difficulty locating it when it is on my dining room table, sofa and love seat, and even my bed comforter, as they are all dark in color as well.
The iPad case is pretty beat up from heavy use so I decided to order a lighter color. When it arrived the other day, my husband was surprised at how “out there” it was, not at all what I would normally choose.
He is right. Please don’t tell him. In order to be able to find items there has to be a color opposition even if it does not match my aesthetic preference.
Contrast, in many a case, is one of the key traits of a visually impaired life.
