I have been told by friends, in the way that only friends can deliver news such as this, that my pupils are always big like a Kewpie doll’s. With my visual impairment, it always seems like the lights are turned down low, therefore, my pupils are always dilating, trying to let light in.
This distinction of looking like a Kewpie doll was a bit difficult to come to terms with. First of all, if you Google these dolls, they are all naked. Secondly, and most importantly, I always considered myself an American Girl.
