Dear Astrological Gods:

Posted on August 1, 2010 By Sister Rain

What is going on please? This is the second day in a row, on a weekend no less, where you’ve sent me a horoscope having to do with the job search.

Today’s read:

“Finding a job that draws on your creative experience may be difficult. Take a position to pay the bills for now.”

OK, OK. I get it. I needed a job and I took one that has turned out to be a stinker and I need to keep it to make some money and I should keep looking. And it’s gonna be tough.

I don’t want to end up like Cassiopeia*, so this is said with the utmost respect Astrological Gods, but these days I’d call them Obvious-scopes . . .

*Cassiopeia was chained to her throne in the heavens as punishment for her boastfulness. As the sky appears to rotate, she can sometimes be seen suffering as she hangs upside down.
