Facing The Holidays

vision
Posted on December 9, 2025 By Sister Rain

No, Sammy Snowman is not in a time-out.

It wasn’t until I inadvertently took a photo with my phone as I was coming down the steps with my hands full that I realized that I had placed Sammy Snowman backwards when I had decorated the house for Christmas several weeks ago. I typically use my sense of touch to determine the direction of things, but I did not see the error of my ways when it came to this guy, whom my mom gave me many years ago.

Sammy seems to have forgiven me, which I appreciate. After all, who among us doesn’t feel a little upside down and turned around this time of year?
