Saguaro National Park       Saguaro National Park

You are pronounced suh-waa-row.
You are astounding.
You are not to be believed.
You are majestic.
You are vast.
You are magnificent.
You are visible as far as the eye can see.
You are unique.
You are odd.
Your arms wave.
Your arms raise in triumph.
You are prickly.
You are huggable.*
You are the land before time.
And yet here you are.
At Saguaro National Park.
The East Loop.
The West Loop.
In Tucson, Arizona.

* Obviously you can’t go around hugging cactus willy-nilly! But my guy knows cacti. Proceeding with caution, he could not help himself.
