We Do

Posted on August 17, 2017 By Sister Rain

Helping me through a mammogram scare, I profusely thanked my amazing friend for being by my side for the follow-up ultrasound and the agonizing 24 hours in between that second test and the call that the mammogram showed something suspicious. Her response to me was, “This is what we do”.

She was able to sum up our incredible friendship in five words, saying everything you need to know about our sisterhood. The ultrasound results were all clear and celebratory cocktails drank, another thing that falls into the category of “It’s What We Do”.

I hope that you, too, have a We Do in your life. Without mine, I don’t know what I would do.
