While waiting for my husband to go get the rental car upon our arrival at SeaTac International Airport, I sat on one of our suitcases. It was a beautiful October morning, I was so happy to be there. Funny how the second time you arrive at an airport in a week’s time you have the opposite feeling. At least I do. I am never ready to go home.

I saw a man approaching, he passed me and stood at the curb. I turned to look at him, and what I was sure I was seeing was him giving a dog a piggyback ride. I knew it could not be, and yet my limited sight told me it could be nothing else. I discreetly took a picture, enlarged it and realized it was not a furry friend but a large musical instrument in a case.

Optic-neuropathy illuions. A tune that is ruff to get used to.

Other Optic-Neuropathy Illusions:
“The Quicker Picker Lamper3”
“Wipe That Smile Off Your Cheeks
“At The Bottom Of The Steps, I Stared”
