On occasion, we will let Piper play on the floor. We only do this when we are there to supervise but while watching him, he has the run of the living room. He likes to push his toys across the wood floor, or toss his ball to us and have us roll it back to him. He also likes to climb up on the small recliner I have positioned close to the TV, giving me my best shot at seeing it better. Once he has ascended the chair, he may play on its seat, arm or the top of its back. I knew he was on the recliner but had not heard or seen him for awhile so I called his name. He is very good about responding when he hears “Piper” and up popped his little head. I saw it because of the movement, immediately grabbing my phone to take these pictures.
I will never tire of this little bird, his antics or the joy he finds in whatever he is doing. He is a pistol, a hoot and the love of my life (sorry, Mister Rain).
