We have been to Washington, DC many times and were heading there again for Mister Rain’s beloved Seahawks coming east to take on the Commanders. What could we do while there that wasn’t PAR for the COURSE? A golf cart tour!
There are several companies offering similar excursions but we chose DC Monuments and Capitol Hill Tour by Viator Travel. The electric cart holds seven people plus the DRIVER who will tell you stories about the city that you’ve never heard before. You have the opportunity to get off the cart at three stops and there are plenty of chances to take photos of all the sights along the way during the two-hour trip. The country has gone through some ROUGH times but the American FLAG at the Capitol elicits a ROUND of applause. Standing below Abe in his marble chair is an HONOR every time.
We didn’t see our nation’s BIRDIE, the EAGLE, but was it still a great thing to do? FORE sure!
