My vision may have been taken from me
For that I didn’t have a say
But some things we have control over
We can do more than just hope and pray.
So let me declare to LA and the world
Don’t take my Oscar or Miss Universe crown
You’ll be prying them from my cold, dead hands
But at least I’ll be wearing a gown.
