I made us my specialty for dinner tonight: Pennsylvania Dutch chicken pot pie. It’s like a stew with chicken, carrots, potatoes and bot boi noodles in a flavorful broth. I haven’t made it since the weather was cooler in the spring as the kitchen can get really hot and it’s an all day endeavor. We really stuffed ourselves and I just said to my husband:
“I was just thinking I wish I had stretch pants on but I already do.”
