Gobble, Gobble

Posted on June 4, 2010 By Sister Rain

My new job is a combination of two great things — travel and working from home. I hit the ground running this week, or I should say I hit the Schuylkill Expressway in bumper-to-bumper traffic, and have attended two events in the last 30 hours. Tomorrow is a work at home day and next Monday I leave for Tampa, Florida for a week of training.

The last week has been a scramble to buy new clothes and immediately start work. It’s been an adjustment but with the short time frame in returning to the title of “employee”, there’s been very little time to think or panic. OK, there’s been some panic.

It just hit me that I have not done the job search in over a week. Not even a few sites. I’ve gone cold turkey without even realizing it.

With all the time and effort I put into the job search, you’d think I’d at least need the patch . . .
