DOA (Dead On Autocorrect)

Posted on July 5, 2017 By Sister Rain

Trying to beat the heat and humidity by heading out for a walk early, I left home without having a cup of coffee, the thing I do before all else when I wake up every morning. I always text my husband when I start my walk and when I return home.

Forty-five minutes later, sweat in my eyes, I arrived back at my house and texted, I am home. Need coffee.

I reviewed it before I hit the send button and this is what the text said:

I am home. Need coroner.

My iPhone is a funny guy but he’s no Keurig. He’d do well to remember that.
