I Don’t Know About You, But I Update Myself

Posted on March 8, 2017 By Sister Rain

Doing an update on my iPad this morning, I thought how great it would be if we could update ourselves with the touch of a button. To be made faster, smarter and more efficient. A new version of ourselves with no sweat, tears, or pain, the bugs all worked out.

But we aren’t machines, not yet anyway. And although this kind of update has more than a little appeal, as flesh and blood we have the ultimate say in how and when we evolve. But once we press “Install Now”, all control of the new update is not ours. And so as much as it would alleviate a lot of work and struggle for us all, I want to be the sole member of my Design Team as I move from one version of myself to the next. After all, we’re testing the prototype everyday.
