The Seahawks On The Shelf

Leaving the Bonneville Salt Flats (click here), my husband decided to stop at the nearby Wendover Travel Center in Tooele, Utah. He had seen online that this store sells Salt Flats t-shirts and he wanted to check them out.

While I waited in the car, I received a text message from Mister Rain containing only the picture you see above the title of this story.

Over eight hundred miles from Seattle, on the border of Nevada and Utah, in pretty much the middle of nowhere, there was a full shelf of hats of only one team: our beloved Seahawks.

When my husband got back in the car he said for just a second he had to think if we were in Seattle.

This was a fun find, a travel moment we will not soon forget. They say home is where you hang your hat, but wherever we see a Seahawks logo feels like home to us.

For other Seahawks stories, enter “Seahawks” into the search bar on this site.
