Not A Champagne Bottle or Noise Maker In Sight

Posted on November 11, 2010 By Sister Rain

I saw a posting for a job right up my alley the other day. The job was being posted by a Recruiter so I contacted him right away. After a phone interview yesterday, I went and met with him today.

Things went well and before I had even returned home after the interview today, I received a call that I have an interview scheduled for next Monday morning with the client who would be my new employer if they’re smart. Ha, Ha. (Only somewhat kidding.)

It hit me a few minutes ago that I’m not even excited or feeling anything really. I think I’ve been so beaten down by this job search process that a victory, as small as it may be, is no longer celebrated. That in itself proves it’s time to end this job search once and for all.
